I am in Tokyo at the moment.  If you come this way, make sure you go to Roppongi and check out Agave .  It is a tequila bar and a cigar bar-  am I in heaven or what?  The Japanese capital is incredible.  My hotel overlooks the Tokyo department store in Shibuya, the world's busiest intersection.  For those of you that saw The Fast and the Furious, Tokyo Drift, my hotel overlooks the soccer pitch in that movie. Very impressive. Off to Singapore tomorrow for dinner with the Mexican ambassador.  Ciao, bellos y bellas!

I hope you like the new interface.  We have a long way to go.  The next thing will be our full tequila list, with pictures.  I know there are a great many Tequila bars out there and many of them are awesome, especially the ones we work with.  However, there is a reason Tommy's claims to be the premier Tequila bar on earth.  Simply put, no one on earth, not even in Jalisco or other parts of Mexico, has the selection we have.  Where else can you walk into a Tequila bar/ Restaurant  and order 5 different Chinaco Añejo products?  That's just a teaser!  Tommy's is extremely proud to work and represent the Tequila industry all over the globe.  Thanks for your continued support!

We shot some video for the Today Show in New York.  It will be shown on December 4, 2006 (see the new Event Calendar!). Please tune in. Also I hope everyone has been watching Latin Eyes.  Andres Pruna and his staff put together a total of 4 different shows that they shot when they visited the Tequila country with me. Congratulations to Andres and all at Latin Eyes for creating an Emmy winning program!!!

Also Tommy's debuted Chinaco Negro, German Gonzalez' new 5 year old extra añejo. The world-wide debut was Nov 8 at Bacar Restaurant. Debbie Z. and Arnold W. will host German for a great dinner. Please check it out.

A huge thanks to Demigod of Tequila Steve Magg for helping us with the website.  Thanks also for helping get people to upload their photos. We plan to put up lots of pictures going back at least 10 years if not more. We are truly pleased to see the Tequila band wagon getting longer, bigger and more global!  Remember we are the ground zero of the Tequila Revolution.

On November 2, I was lucky enough to attend a Bruichladdich Scotch tasting held by none other than the revered James McEwan.  If you ever have a chance to hear him speak about his passions: Scotland, Islay and Bruichladdich. If you enjoy scotch, you owe it to yourself to look intgo Bruichladdich (Brook- laddie).  Twice in the past 7 years, James has been voted best distiller on earth- not of scotch but of everything!! We are extremely proud to call James our friend.

I hope everyone enjoyed Miguel Cedeo's visit. Miguel is Head of Production / Master Distiller for Herradura.  He and Dr. Kern hosted an intimate dinner this past October 16.  Thanks to Dr. Kern for keeping things in order.

To everyone who joined us in Arandas, thank you!  Every continent was represented except for Antarctica.  Thanks to Chema Banuelos who so graciously offered his site to us, Claudio Lizandro, Mario, Letty and the entire town of Arandas.  It was a world class festivity that lasted for three days.

If you need to make margaritas at home, do not forget to ask for, and pick up some, Tommy's Heavenly Margarita Mix !!!!
